The first two images are of a gathering
funnel from the same storm after it passed into northern Saunders county just
north of the Highway 109 spur. The third image is of a bolt of lightning extending from the wall cloud, again just north of the highway 109 spur. The tornado's debris cloud can be seen to the left of the lightning. The fourth and fifith images are of the same picture. They show the tornado, primarily visible by its debris cloud, just to the left center of the picture. It is hard to see in the fourth image, thanks to the sun setting and rain wrap beginning on its NW side, but it is visible. To make it more visible, I have placed a negative of the same picture on here as well. Story Page Mammatus clouds Inflow jets Gustnadoes Shelf/Wall cloud |
