The first two pictures are of the firemen from
Ceresco paying us a brief visit. Hi guys! Bet you didn't think you'd end up on a
website did you? Image number 3 is of the wall cloud near the tree line approaching Ceresco on Highway 77. View is to the south. The next 4 images are looking toward the east. Image number 4 is of the immense rainshaft as it passed over Highway 63 near Ithaca. Images 5, 6, and 7 are "textbook" images of the wall cloud located directly behind the rainshaft. Images 8 and 9 are of the organizing funnel to the north looking out of our chase vehicle. This funnel became a brief tornado which touched down near Ithaca. Images 10-13 were taken as we were quickly losing daylight at around 8:00 P.M. Image 10 is a greyscale of a tornado from the same wall cloud which touched down between Mead and Leshara Nebraska. Image 11 is an organizing funnel which became the tornado depicted in images 12 and 13. Story Page |
