These photos were taken about a mile north of
Martinsburg NE, facing norhtwest. At first, in the field, we thought it was a rainshaft; however, the rainshaft can be clearly seen in each image on the right side. The tornado is very weak and picking up little to nothing at all. The first image is of the faint tornado, highlighted in red, on the southwest flank looking northwest. The second image is a blown up image of the first image. The third image is of a darkened and blown up first image. The fourth image is of the funnel disappearing into the clouds. Story Page |
