The first two images are of a high precipitation supercell which did produce a tornado, see tornado gallery June 9, 1999, near Mead Nebraska. The images themselves were taken 1 mile west of Colon Nebraska looking northwest then north. The first image is of the shelf cloud in advance of the gust front. The second is of the shelf cloud passing over us. Note the tree in the foreground as the gust front nears us.
The next two images are of the sun setting behind a thunderstom and were taken 2 miles south of Morse Bluff Nebraska looking west.
The last image is a high precipitation supercell 100 miles south of our position. Another was directly to our north, see next gallery.
