- Right mouse clicking for menu access was added.
- An options dialog box was added under the menu item Tools for customizing the right mouse
click as well as changing some other Pic Viewer behaviors.
- A Refresh File List menu item was added under the File menu. This item does the same thing
as the Reset Path menu item with the exception that selecting Refresh File List during
a slideshow will not send you back to the selection screen.
- Minor code tweaks in the displaying of images as well as the Find feature.
- Ability to place a currently viewed image as desktop wallpaper.
- Major help file upgrade long needed to make the help file Windows style.
Upgrades/changes made to Pic Viewer version 2.14.37.
- A critical upgrade was made to the program. When viewing a .sld file using the Automated
Slideshow, occasionally the program would stop at the second image forcing the user
to restart the slideshow. The bug appears to be fixed.
- The new conversion utility for .sld files was tweaked due to a possible input bug
related to the structure of a premade .sld file.
Upgrades/changes made to Pic Viewer version 2.14.35.
- File searches coded more efficiently, dropped exe file size.
- Help file upgrade.
- A .sld file conversion utility. This feature corrects a problem
which occurs due to the fact that not every person has the same type of drive
associated with a letter. This generally occurs when a cd-rom contains a premade .sld
file from a distributor.
Upgrades/changes made to Pic Viewer version 2.14.28.
- The Image Description searches have been dropped with the advent of the
ability to search for text within the description/caption.
- The Pic Viewer caption mistakenly displayed a title wrong on startup.
- The About page has been revamped.
- Help file upgrade.
- Exact filename search dropped.
- Two Filename searches which search for text in a filename, cause for removal of previous item.
Upgrades/changes made to Pic Viewer version 2.14.16.
- Two new menu items have been added, Slideshow and Tools.
- The Next and Back navigation controls have been removed from the main Slideshow window to give a cleaner appearance. The controls are now located
in the new Slideshow menu item. Navigation can still be done by clicking your
left and right mouse button on the image.
- The Stop and Continue controls have also been removed and added to the
new Slideshow menu.
- The Slideshow Speed menu is now located under the Slideshow menu.
- The new Tools menu contains a submenu named Find. Under this new submenu,
there are 6 choices for performing searches on Slideshows. They are...
- Search Forward or Backward for a certain Image Description in a slideshow, may be removed in next version.
- Search for an image's Slideshow Index.
- Search for an image's Filename.
- Search for Text in an image's Description, reason for possible removal of first two searches.
